Sometime in early May, I was in a hurry and ran into the BP gas station in Morton with just my wallet instead of my purse. I was preoccupied with several items in my hands and on the way out I tucked my wallet under my arm. The wind was terrible that day and while I was trying to get my van door open, I unknowingly dropped my wallet. I did not realize this until about an hour later after arriving home.
In a panic, I rushed back to the gas station and, to my surprise, I was told that a man next door at Lighthouse Buick GMC saw my wallet on the ground after I pulled away and turned it in. I went to the business and found out that the employee's name was Paul.
I owe so much to him for his honesty and kindness. In this day of high gas prices, anybody could have kept the money or tried to use the debit or credit cards, but Paul chose to do the right thing. Paul was my guardian angel that day and I cannot thank him enough. I can only hope that someone will do the same for him and that he be blessed a hundred-fold.
